Q: How long will it take to learn paintless dent repair (PDR)?
A: It depends on the person. You should spend five days a week, at least four hours each day practicing. The more time you spend in practice, the more your skill level will improve. 10 to 15% each week on dime, nickel & quarter size dings. Slow down, implement each step of the technique and train your eyes to see in detail. This could take three weeks or three months, depending on the quality of time you spend in training and practice.


Q: How much money can I make doing PDR?
A: Local repairmen can make approximately $75,000 up to $140,000

Domestic (USA) hail chasers approximately $175,000 up to $250,000
International hail chasers approximately $280,000 up to $400,000

Q: Can a female learn and be successful doing PDR?
A: We have successfully trained GM, Ford, and Chrysler and UAW female employees in the assembly plant for the repair of in-system damage. Most small dents and dings only require a minimum amount of strength.

Q: How much do I charge for dent repair?
A: With quality repairs, most dealers will pay $40 per panel if there are one to three dime, nickel or quarter size dents or dings.

Auto body shops will pay $80 to $100 per panel with 1 – 3 dings in a panel.

Insurance companies and the retail public will pay $80 to $125 per panel.

After you perfect your skill most panel will take 15 to 30 minutes this include your setup time.
